Snowballs are cold...not hot

🤓Erm, actually, sometimes hot stuff can feel cold. This odd sensation is called paradoxical cold and is caused by the temperature receptors in your skin. There are separate, specific receptors that respond to decreases or increases in temperature. If skin temperature drops, the cold receptors fire and if it increases, the warmth receptors fire.

🤓I seem to have made an error in my previous message. I meant to say that cold stuff can feel hot, not that hot stuff can feel cold, although both are possible due to the paradoxical cold sensation.

But if you make a snowball without gloves 🧤 then after you threw it, it would burn you're hand
