Y'know, in Mario & Luigi: Brothership, if you combine the Kaboom Attack plug(if the Jump or Hammer attack gets an EXCELLENT! rating, it affects any enemies near the target, similar to Mario's Hatch Me If You Can) with either of these plugs:
Anti-Spike Specialist*
Anti-Flying Specialist**
Surprise Iron Ball
Dizzifying Attack
Coinpiler***
the effect from the plugs get carried by the Kaboom Attack plug and affect them!
*The enemy Magmad is a Spike-Type enemy, because the flame on the head is an Anti-Jump. The Piranha Plant is also a Spike-Type, but ONLY when it is readying the Ptooie attack. I like to hit the Plant with a nice Hammer and Surprise Iron Ball for a combo I call, the "Ptwooie". The Ptooie gets dropped, dealing 50+h+10 DMG. The h-value is whatever damage the Hammer attack does. From what I know, I've only seen the Iron Ball only does 10 DMG.
**Anti-Flying Specialist is like Anti-Spike, but it affects airborne enemies. Flying enemies and Spike enemies are best buds. Flying enemies cause Hammer attacks to auto miss, and Spike enemies deal 1 damage if the oncoming attack is a jump, NOT including Luigi's Jump Helmet. But what the Anti-Air and Anti-Spike Specialist plugs do is cool: They make it so that if the oncoming attack IS NOT the attack they prevent, the resulting damage they take is a guaranteed Crit, or a Buster Critical! as the game calls it.
***The Coinpiler plug is good if you wanna get rich fast by battling. It makes it so that attacks that connect make the enemy drop Coins. And, it can be used for 20 Plug Activations before going on a 20 Brothers Action Turn cooldown.
