Kinda weird that there are that many satellites buried there

Well the ones that crash anywhere else get found quicker

But they don't retrieve them. He is saying they are still buried...a spacecraft cemetery.

Well it's the Pacific ocean, so I thought he meant that they're buried in water

I thought we were talking about whether they get found quicker (as you said)...but I don't think they do retrieve them. And, being so deep, it would likely be impossible to get them. Its deeper than the distance the space station is far from from earth...amazing. Can you imagine how much we don't know about the ocean?
