seeing this next to water reminds me. i once had a tennis shoe thrown at me from across a pool. suffice to say i was lounging with legs of either side of a of sunchair. i was wearing flimsy swimming trunks (to protect my junk). this was triple threat of distance of attack, access to the area and the next thing that may be tmi. no amorphous blow to the groin - this was a focused impact on a single testicle. i'm sure there are worse scenarios, yet those likely result in permanent injury. the duration and intensity of my agony cannot be expressed in words.
