Idk, we don’t really know much about her past both in Hell or when she was alive. I heard one theory is why she is crazy is because she cracked from the social pressure of being a Japanese-America women in the 50s (having to deal with extreme duel cultures to be both the 1950s perfect American women and Japanese cultural practices) and also the fact she would be a child in the Japanese concentration camps during WWII would make just about anyone snap understandably.
