I usually do AWD, Slick Race tires, max out engiene, and 8 or more gears so the car goes faster, but I'll give it a shot.

It makes the car go top speed and the acceleration might seem to decrease but in reality it goes wicked fast

With my usual tune setup, the car still goes fast, and has good agility, impeccable acceleration, launch, and braking.

And when you make a car AWD so Acceleration and Launch stats go to 10.0 and performance rating goes up, but the car is slow as frick.
