lol ive played a decent bit of star citizen and i can confirm this is how to play, though somehow i avoided this meta and only bought the base game.

I haven’t played the game so idk how much money you actually need to spend, but that game doesn’t have as wide of an appeal as games like cod and Fortnite, so for them to make their money back they can’t just make the game cost 60$ and have no other way to profit

yeah so i got the game for 40 and i think that was full price idk. i never bought microtransactions but i have heard of a lot.
