As a Minecrafter since 1.14, I can confirm this as nostalgic. Not the YouTubers because I'd never watched them before (with the exception of DanTDM a few times), but the old textures, the glitches that are easier to do back then than now, etc.

i've had my best memories in 1.6 and 1.7, imho those were the last of the "OG" minecraft versions

after 1.8 and 1.9 it went in a much different direction (i wouldn't say it's bad, it isn't because we've gotten loads of good stuff, but it *could* be better)

One thing I absolutely despise when it comes to Minecraft nostalgia is the fact some YouTubers don't say they are using a mod and led me to believe it actually exists. For example: the ghost block.

Sadly i havent watched that much stampy when i was a kid, BUT i watched mmos, pewdiepie, and dantdm. That video did forget one channel, my favorite minecraft channel that i watched so many times as a child, which is, Element Animation (aka the funny villager news, villager animated videos)
