Are we more advanced than Star Wars? Drones, anyone? Ai? Anyone?

...I was thinking of the Sovereign Drone Pilots in Guardians of the Galaxy. Their whole fleet was wiped out but they did not lose any pilots.

I don't think quite yet, but we're getting there. Some tech is much more advanced, like our military and flying speed and stuff, but we still have a long way to go in other areas. We don't have commercial space travel yet, and AI isn't like the droids in Star Wars.
But hey, Hacksmith has made a fully self contained lightsaber-pike, so we might be there in a few years
