The only non-Disney Marvel movies were Ironman and The Incredible Hulk - but yes the quality is non-existent currently

The last truly great Marvel movie in my eyes was Thor: Ragnarok.

That's why I stopped watching Marvel movies, you need to watch all of the movies to understand the plot. And the movies in question? Trash

I mean, they act like that's the big problem but the thing is, if the movies were good, no one would care. We start caring when we gotta watch garbage shows or movies to understand another show or movie.

Yes, that is what I meant by that. I agree

this is sadly true, like guardians of the galaxy 3 was complete trash

I watched that same movie and had an anxiety attack.
I would say most of disneys movies are degenerating (f**king WISH) but not necessarily volume 3 of the guardians. I thought Rocket's character evolution was pretty sweet and the way he grows into a good leader in the end touches me.

the among us joke did make me almost destroy the TV though.

Disney ruins everything
Their movies aren't even good, they suck ass.
Disney will buy anything just to "make money" off of it and they ruin it
so in summary Disney is very overrated

Yeah ever since Bob Iger took over they started prioritizing politics over storytelling
Then Bob Chapek came in and took that to a ridiculous extreme, where he basically fired everyone who didn't have his political ideologies (which seemingly turned out to be all their good writers), and he took the political messaging to an extreme, and once he lost the company billions of dollars in under a year or two, they got Iger back, which fixed nothing because he's the one who started everything in the first place. Chapek just took it on the speed train

Tho the star wars death trend started with the hiring of Kathleen Kennedy, was speed trained with Rian Johnson (who should never direct a movie again), and then now it's just super dead

Tbh season 1 was pretty lame too

The whole series tbh has always come across as a way to uproot their past and change it into oblivion while referencing it over and over bc "nostalgia waves"

The party pooper episode was pretty funny tho

But like ppl complain about Peggy not being able to hold the infinity stones... bruh neither should killmonger be able to, and how on earth could an AI bot like Ultron wield the gauntlet?
Plus if Thanos blocked Wanda's blast in infinity war, then Ultron's blast should've been blocked - he just cut Thanos in half and took the stones. That just felt like lazy writing, like "we don't want to do all the CG for an actual infinity stone war, so let's just end it in 2 seconds"
I feel like it would've made more sense in Season 2 if Kahhori wielded the stones (since she's got space stone powers, it would be buyable that the stones wouldn't kill her on direct contact, like with Wanda or Captain Marvel or possibly Doctor Strange. But Peggy? I mean she does have super soldier serum but that wouldn't make her last much longer than a human, and you saw what the stones did to Iron Man... and he has a metal suit...

also Disney destroyed marvel a long time ago. Phase 4 was bad installment after bad installment (with the exception of Wandavision, Loki, and Spiderman NWH. I did like Hawkeye too)
2022 was a horrendous year bc Doctor Strange 2 was set up by Wandavision and Spiderman NWH, two of Phase 4's best stuff, and it was a massive letdown. Thor 4 was just - no.
And 2023 opened with antman 3, which killed the whole thing for me. That was when I realized the writers behind the MCU now have no clue what they're even doing anymore. If you watch reviews of infinity war and many mcu movies containing Thanos, they'll explain how the MCU does a masterful job getting you to actually fear him (especially in the first minutes of infinity war, when he does something no one's done, and embarrasses the Hulk). They get you to think, "oh crap, this guy's the real deal." Antman 3 made the next big bad into a massive joke. They gave him cartoon lines and made him get beaten by socialist ants. He legit is incinerating ppl left and right, killing at will, and when our main characters walk up to confront him, the dude starts monolauging about how powerful he is and never remembers that he can incinerate people again bc plot armor. No stakes were raised after the movie - they didn't even have him break out of the Quantum Realm. Every time we've seen Kang, he's gotten beat. At least in Loki Season 1 he wasn't even trying to win the fight and literally said he didn't care if he died or not. The others? They've all just been a big joke. This guy is supposed to be the next big thing after Thanos. They could've one-upped Thanos by having Kang win on a massive scale in Phase 5 - so we can't wait for the epic showdown with the Avengers in Kang Dynasty in 2026 and Secret Wars in 2027, but they screwed it up.

And then Jonathan Majors got in trouble and got fired, so now they have to go a different route altogether. I honestly wish they'd reboot post endgame mcu (with the exception of the Spiderman movies) and get some actual marvel fans to write the movies instead if all these Victoria Alonsos and DEI hires
