As someone who liked both, what was wrong with Frontiers? The open world was surprisingly competent (which is more than I can say for a lot of open world games)

I will say though, SA1 > SA2

It's not a bad game. Just overrated. And the DLC sucks ass. It's way too unbalanced and poorly telegraphed, to where I was able to beat the base game on Extreme a lot easier than the DLC on easy.

I’ll give you the DLC. I played it when it came out, and I also switched to easy mode.

To be fair, they added another update afterward to fix the difficulty and boss trials, and they also give Knuckles his proper gliding movement back. These are great improvements, but I was already done with the game when that update came out, and it honestly should have been that way from the start. Maybe I’ll replay the game in a year to see.

But as an open world, it worked pretty well. I know some people called it Ubisoft slop, but it felt nothing like that.

Thats opinion, Sonic Frontiers being good is a fact and btw if you think that Sonic adventure 1 is good then just remember that they ripped off ice cap from Sonic 3

That's the one bad thing you can say about Sonic Adventure? Lol, Sonic Frontiers rips off the first three games in the series plus a bunch of the 3D games in Cyberspace. And that's the only fun part of the game for me.

If you're saying it like that, then all of the levels in Sonic Generations are ripped off. My man, the reason they added Cyberspace and things from previous games (and the reason why Sonic Generations exists) is something called NOSTALGIA. And to make it clear, Icecap from Adventure is NOTHING like Ice Cap Zone from Sonic 3.

Rant all you want, you're not changing my opinion. I like almost every other Sonic game I've played ever more than I like Sonic Frontiers.

What im trying to say here is that all Sonic games are, in some way, good.

Oh and here's another one, one of the Windy Valley soundtracks is ripped off from Sonic 3D Blast. The only difference between the two is that the Adventure version identifies as rock n roll.
