The Masuda method is breeding 2 Pokémon of different languages, reducing the odds of a shiny to like 1 in 600, and even less with the charm.
To get the Shiny Charm you need to finish your Pokédex, which I can probably help you with

Hmm. That makes a lot more sense. Problem is I need to get rid of all my dragonite eggs 🤣 and how can you help me with the Pokédex? Completing it is really hard

you’re going to be able to encounter every starter in the wild in the indigo disk, you could have just waited for that (and buy the dlc if you haven’t) instead of suffering through the Masuda method

I was going to say i should go back to trying to breed a shiny Froakie, but now I think I found a better method.
