It's not ALL that money. Take germany, they are actually a very powerful country, and they still have free Healthcare but the capacity of self defense.

Yep . . . they could fight off Russia or China with one hand tied behind their back. No wait, they couldn't. The best they could do would be to fend off -- say -- France or England -- if those nations weren't really trying all that hard. The reason that Russia and China have not taken over the world is because Super Power United States DOES pour so much money into military defense.

So? Is that a meaningful point to make? All it means is that all of those other nations with their socialism are relying on everyone else for their protection -- and ultimately on the United States. No United States . . . no European freedom . . . period.

So perhaps socialists should thank the United States for pouring so much into the effort to keep them free to complain about the United States keeping them free.
