The funnier part is that our constitution literally starts off by saying "We The People..." Even though it literally is about keeping power away from the government, it makes you want to go back in time and tell them to write it for pre-schoolers.
The appetite for power is unsatiable, which is why politicians can be worse than cannibals, because a cannibal's stomach can be filled, but a politician could destroy millions of lives for power they don't have and still be hungry.
