I usually don't try to brainstorm an entire story all in one go, I generally have it brewing in the back of my mind for a while.

you don’t have to if you can’t do it / don’t feel like it

all humans feel the need to not do something every now and then. as much as we love your stories, you should take a break so you don’t go insane writing them
