Say we were alone i would lock the child in my basement and maul him with a mace once a day very lightly so that it will pierce the skin with unsterilized material, counting as a hit to the child, earning me money. I will feed the child twice a day so it is fed yet slowly starving. When the cops come, i will clean the basement and have my neighbor borrow the child to prevent the police from finding it in my house. Then they will bring the child back and I will pay them a portion of the money sufficient to their needs, but not too much. Foolproof plan!
