ADAM AND EVE: "But why, though?"

GOD: "It contains a knowledge that is meant just for me. You do not need it to live. I created you, and I will always be here to take care of you."

ADAM AND EVE: "Seems legit."

DEVIL: *makes sure Adam is out of earshot* "Oh, but IS it legit?"

EVE: "Well, yeah."

DEVIL: "Okay, but what if I told you that if you eat that fruit...oh, you WILL gain knowledge! Gain knowledge on how to be JUST like God! It'll be AWESOME! Just take a bite, give some to hubby over there, and you'll be superstars in no time!"

ADAM: "Don't worry! We've got this under control, uh...here, let's make some clothes."

GOD: "Eat that fruit?" *sigh* "What did I tell you two?"

ADAM: "We'll die if we ate the forbidden fruit."

GOD: "And why?"

ADAM: "Because we'd know too much...but...how are we still alive?"

GOD: "Death didn't exist before you ate the fruit. There was only life and innocence in you. But, because you listened to SOMEONE whom you JUST MET instead of abiding by my infallible Word, your generation and all proceeding will have to endure the consequences."

EVE: "Consequences? But the snake seemed so nice!"

DEVIL: "Yah, give a guy a break, would ya?"

GOD: "I gave you ONE chance, fiend, along with all the others, to stay on My side. I gave you that freedom to choose, but now you know what the consequences are. Without Me, existence is futile. I'm not a communist. I just want everyone and everything under My care because I, as the Creator of the universe, love everything into existence. You didn't want My love, and now you only know hatred. As for you, Adam and Eve, you will also endure consequence, but not eternally. You have indulged in sin, and are, thus, no longer fit to remain in my garden which you have soiled with the sin you chose to let yourself commit."

ADAM: "Will we end up like...him?"

GOD: "If you persevere, yes..."

Jesus Christ is the Second Chance. If God gave us His only Begotten Son right away, what would we have learned? Nothing. God is the Father of all creation, and as the Father, He must make sure His children are behaving according to His Will, lest all chaos break out. We learnt the gravity of sin through the many years between the first sin and the Adventus Domini. Some of us succeeded in following the right path, while others clearly failed and paid dearly for it.

So the starving African kids failed?

No. Their corrupt government and forefathers did. Just because a certain group is suffering, doesn't mean it's their fault. There's antecedents to everything, and the ancient antecedent to all suffering and immorality is the iniquity that Lucifer inspired himself to have. God didn't create the angels as robots, but as high-functioning beings with free wills and personality. Lucifer chose to rebel against God, thus starting the butterfly effect of sin. He sowed seeds of doubt into Adam and Eve when they bit into the apple, but he didn't possess them to take action. He inspired them, just as he and his minions inspire others throughout the world, seeking the ruin of their souls, in order to let their ways infect the world God created for us.

If He did that, we wouldn't learn anything. He wants us to come to Him willingly. Not only did He give the angels free will, but us, too. Do you know of the parable of the Prodigal Son? The younger son, after receiving the inheritance he demanded his father to give him, left his home with selfish intent. He spent most of his days partying until his money ran out. With nothing more to spend his fortunes on, he hungered for food, but there was nothing around to satisfy him.

He worked for a farmer for a time, but didn't reap any beneficiary reward. He was so hungry that the food that he gave to the pigs started to look delicious to him. At one point, he finally realized just how deep his foolishness was. He took what he didn't earn to enjoy a comfortable life of luxury without rules that lasted mere days. And so, he left that farm to return to his father's home. However, the father embraced him with open arms, and forgave his son. The younger son was dumbfounded as to why his father forgave him after everything he had done, but his father explained that he was blind and now he saw.

He saw the difference between darkness and light, and had the choice to pursue either. He chose the latter because he knew it was right and just. If God just pushed out any sort of intrusive thought in our minds, we would be robots, programmed to obey instead of being inspired to love and obey.

We can pray to Him and His anointed in Heaven (we HONOR the latter, NOT worship them) to aid us and others in the battle between good and evil, but we cannot force others to believe in what they aren't inspired by. Like I said, God wants us to come to Him through our own discernment. The Will of God is the holiest of all plans, and it is our duty, as His children, to fulfill it, but we must WANT to fulfill it.

ADAM: "And if we don't?"

GOD: "Then you may come into My Heavenly Kingdom. However, it is locked."

EVE: "Didn't you make keys to unlock Heaven's Gates?"

GOD: "No, but the Key will be begotten."

EVE: "Begotten?"

GOD: "You will see in time, but not today or in your lifetime."

ADAM: "We're gonna die?!?"

GOD: "Not today, but in time, yes. Sin has rewarded you with mortality, pain, and the knowledge between right and wrong. You, your children, and all of your offspring shall know the gravity of this knowledge, and the effects of evil within the souls of mankind. I will warn these generations several times of the evils that they should avoid, just as I have warned you. Do not tempt Me to make any unruly decisions."

DEVIL: "Hold up, yo. If you're so 'omnipotent,' why don't you just remove that sin from the humans? Also, why would YOU do anything 'unruly?' You're supposed to be the 'perfect' example here!"

GOD: "I just told you, fiend, that I gave you a choice, and I gave Adam and Eve a choice. You chose death, and they chose death. You completely separated yourself from me by trying to ascend to My Throne, while Adam and Eve disobeyed me. Once you separated yourself from me, the gap was too great to ever bridge, but Adam and Eve did not want to separate themselves from me completely. However, now they shall see the effects of evil in the world I made."

DEVIL: "Oh...are you saying...I have a bit of creative liberties??"

GOD: "No, destructive liberties. It will be a test to them, whether they will return to me through any circumstance, even when hope seems not to be."

DEVIL: "Yeah, yeah, whatever, now let me ha—"

GOD: "ENOUGH. You are going back to the furnace where you belong, and you shall crawl on your belly and eat the filth of the earth!"

DEVIL: "But you created it, so how is it filth?"

GOD: "Before it was clean, just as Adam and Eve were, but now it is a stain of sin...doesn't that sound familiar?"

ADAM AND EVE: "We understand, Your Highness."

DEVIL: "Oh, come on, man, don't side with—"

GOD: *seals devil in darkness* "And so it is done, but it continues. My Son has died and risen, but the stain of sin has yet to receive its final judgement. Prepare, ye. Prepare."
