Recognized by the Academy with 4 Oscar nominations in 1955, but it didn't win any -- that doesn't stop it from being a great Hitchcock movie though:
Oscar Nominations:
Best Director: Alfred Hitchcock
Best Writing, Screenplay: John Michael Hayes
Best Cinematography, Color: Robert Burks
Best Sound, Recording: Loren L. Ryder (Paramount)
Better than Virtigo, I think, and Grace Kelly's fashion is outstanding, and I think the best out of all leading ladies in Hitchcock movies which makes it a must-see for 1950s fashion lovers; it's a good mystery with quality adult actors that make the film so much better than the updated teen version 'Disturbia' from 2007 -- it's also perfect to watch during a summertime heatwave!
