Bro mining in the void

All the Minecraft updates do is just make the game more frustrating and take longer to beat.

Well, I'd say it's actually easier now than it was back then. I'm playing 1.5.2 rn and it took me (on a world where I speedran the game) like 6 hours (obviously I'm not a pro, but people nowadays speedrun the game in like 20-40 minutes)

Yeah, but the worlds keep getting deeper and bigger, and none of the new environments or biomes add anything to the core structure for beating the game. Maybe it’s just randomness, but it takes me hours to find a nether fortress now. They added a nether update, but all it did was make it harder to get what you needed. They added a cave update, but all it did was make it harder to find diamonds.
