I got an M4A1 Israeli gas mask. They're produced by a private company called Kyng nowadays, but they used to be produced by the Israeli Government. Mine is from Jan. 1990.

It's a size 3 (Adult Small), but it barely fits on my face. It still seals though and I can chamber a rifle with it. It's also single-intake. I think It's going to be my new EDC gas mask, since it's so small and easy to use under pressure. Sadly, it doesn't have a voice diaphragm.

I need to stop being a fuсking nerd about gas-masks and do something else with my time other than reading up on gas-masks

If you want a functional one I actually reccomend this one as it's universal size, cheap, compact, and simple. The only downside is that there's no voice diaphragm.

I reccomend these filters, they're rated A2B2E2K2P3 (highest protection that is practical to have) and they're relatively cheap compared to other ones.

If you just want one to mess with your friends or for halloween I reccomend an old soviet surplus GP-5. These have filter threats that aren't modern and the filters they come with have asbestos. If you don't use the filters, it should be fine.
