we drove to exfil-point, making sure to watch both sides of the road for any contacts or AI. as we came into view of the green smoke that was rising from the ground. a lone car was sitting there. "that does not seem right," i thought to myself as we drove closer. i had thought it was just a random car that spawned near the gas station. the only thing to disprove my theory was the player that ran out from the right looking straight towards our car. me and my teammate fired onto the enemy player standing right before us. he fired back as usual. the car speeds up upon contact as we head within range of his sight.
the front window shatters, the player falls into a downed position, i stay there watching all play out as if it was a cinematic scene from the campaign. my team exits the car, hoping to interrogate the enemy player in case he was not the only one camping exfil-point. fortunately there were no other enemy players near the exfil-point. meaning that it would be a breeze getting out of the DMZ.
the helicopter landed, the 3 man team exfiltrated from the DMZ. it was just another round in warzone 2.0
