If your music has no singing, i can tell you this. Change the tune. With a lyrical song, you can have the same tune over and over again with the same instruments so long as you change the words around. If you don't have singing, you need to keep your song interesting some other way.

You can change the way the tune plays, the pitch it's in, the instruments, you can switch to a different tune, and all sorts of things. But don't make your tunes and sections too different from each other. Otherwise, it'll feel like you just took 2 unrelated songs and slapped them together.
