The Shanty

The red sky at night is a sailor's delight,
But the crimson morning sky,
the same seaman'll cry:
"The bloody sky,
the bloody waves,
that's what makes the monsters leave their caves!
The voyage is doomed,
there's no going back,
'lest horrid Shanty might attack!
The beast named after the song of the sea,
he hunts, he prowls,
and he'll sink ye!"
The clouds grow darker,
the sun grows dim,
and you feel deep in your bones, no ship can outrun him.
Tentacles wrapped around his face,
fish-hooks in his fins, claws like harpoons,
Shanty, they call him, the living typhoon.
"The bloody sky,
The bloody waves,
It's revenge that Shanty craves!
His voyage was doomed,
his crew never made it back,
a hurricane pulled the ship under, into the black!
He was the fiercest pirate on the sea,
he stole, he slaughtered,
and he'll make sure you're doomed to the same fate as he!"
