I have seen several images in MSMG (fun stream too) that are created, but are not featured until months later, can you tell me what's happening here?

MSMG all images are featured within the minute
The fun stream works weirdly as the site mods have more work to do and images can get over looked

Yeah yeah, but teh thing is, that there are some images that are created, but not approved until months later.
