1. Not all of the confederates were pro-slavery, a good chunk of them were just tryna protect their hometown
2. Some germans were forced into war by hitler, and if they refused they would have everything taken away from them. You name it, their home, their family, their rights...
That's all I'm gonna say, yes im anti-slavery and anti-nazi but some of them were good hearted
