I would use a lid. (That was meant to be spoken in an indignant tone at the idea that me, someone who is kidnapping a pokemon, wouldn't put a lid on my Vaporeon Kidnapping bucket.)

That is fair. I suppose the most effective manner would be to find his pokeball and use that. Makes me wonder why Jessie and James never did that.
