DISCLAIMER: to have audio for your gifs, you need to have imgflip Pro!
if you want audio, you can do this:
1: open powerpoint.
2: create new blank presentation.
3: go to the bar at the top of the screen.
4: find the "insert" tab.
5: open "insert" tab and go to the very end of the row. it will say "screen recording"
6: make sure to open the Google (or whatever you use, firefox, edge, etc.) tab that has the video playing before clicking screen record. this will ensure that you record the right thing.
7: after selecting the area that needs to be recorded, click the microphone button. this will make it
record your screen AND your audio.
8: let it countdown and then hit the play button on the video.
9: once you're done recording, it will insert the recording onto the blank slide.
10: save the powerpoint presentation.
11: when you have it saved, go to the "create" tab on imgflip.
12: click on "make a gif".
13: click on "upload file"
14: upload the powerpoint that you just made.
15: in the gif settings, find the option to have audio for your gif.
16: upload your gif and you're all set!
