Almost any time I play a multiplayer FPS the guys with knives always absorb the bullets, then when I try to be the guy with a knife everyone becomes the sentry gun from TF2
I use this tactic sometimes when advancing through enemy lines or there are many enemies around me. The rest of the time though, I'm either sniping them or spraying them.
