Getting your games taken away is nothing compared to getting hit with a belt, clothing hanger,iPhone charger, flip flop, toothbrush (don’t ask) and being called fat

Same for me except without the iPhone charger and toothbrush.

Just because you've deleted the icon it doesn't mean it's been uninstalled.

Even if she DOES uninstall them, you can always get them back.

Why do parents actually do this? They're basically taking away what their kid likes.

Getting your games taken away for being a little brat isn’t as bad as the belt. Trust me on that, I learned to fear the belt more than my games taken away. :(

You don't understand. Games are life. I know the belt.

But they do make their kids excellent liars, lmao. I've learned how to sense their footsteps so ik who's coming to my room, it's useful.

I've had to listen to footsteps for so long that I can identify who is coming to my room based on how their footsteps sound.

I thought I was the only one who could do this,I know exactly what each family members foot steps sound like and how they open doors I learned to fear how they open the front door...

At 2:31 am I always head to the basement to play on my Xbox. While the door is hard to hear, the stairs make a barely audible noise whenever anyone steps on them. I had to make a small spot in the closet there in order to hide.

:( my parents just change the passwords and download locking software.

I can also recognize the sound of 1 specific garage door opening. Once every week, I'm able to go downstairs and play on my Xbox without any problems. My dad uses that garage door close to when one of my neighbors uses theirs and also comes home late at night. I have problems with sleeping, so it's easy to stay awake.

Correct all it dose it teach the children to fear they’re parents

I feel bad for u bro. My parents are kinda strict but super nice. (I don't get benefits lol)
0 ups, 4y
It only benefits a child academically. It also hinders them academically. Strict parenting is dumb.

No, not a parent, just someone who’s ass is very familiar with my dad’s belt. I was a little shit growing up and that belt straightened me out real quick.
