This was a video taken by myself at the Biology of Parasitism program in Woodshole MA. The worm is some type of cestode (a flatworm and tapeworm), though I am not sure of the species. If memory serves right this was likely extracted from the digestive tract of a robin fish (though I cannot remember for certain). This was one of the many species of parasitic worms we found in the several fish we dissected.
I noticed there are not many good cestode or tapeworm gifs out there so I hope this image helps someone especially if you are teaching a Biology class!
