I went out to dinner with my parents and siblings last Friday. We went to a local brew pub and had their fish fry. It was rather comical to be required to wear a mask when you walk in, wait to be seated, walked to your table, and then when you walk to the exit, yet no one has to wear a mask while dining/drinking. How does anyone with half a f**king brain think that this is going to result in less COVID cases? It's just dumb as hell to think that if we all put our masks on some of the time, it's going to do any good. It's not doing any good. This disease will infect everyone that is susceptible to being infected with an upper respiratory illness. That's how diseases work!
Wash your hands? Sure, makes a lot of sense. Avoid massive gatherings? Sure, even that I can get onboard with. But force people to wear masks when we know that the disease can easily just go right through the relatively cavernous holes in them, is just plain dumb. And at least 50% of the public has bought into it. Says a lot about how dumb/gullible, on average, humans are.
