Water IS wet. Water just cannot GET wet.
"If we define 'wet' as a sensation that we get when a liquid comes in contact with us, then yes, water is wet to us. If we define 'wet' as 'made of liquid or moisture', then water is definitely wet because it is made of liquid, and in this sense, all liquids are wet because they are all made of liquids" but.... "“Things that can be wet can also be dry. Water can't switch between dry and wet so it can be neither,” said Eva Danielson '22. It is also important to note that wet is an adjective while water is a noun. An argument built off of wet being a description is, wet is a description of things that liquid touches."
