I actually knew that, and I actually wondered if you'd bring it up (I remember Angela Merkel saying that word this week on the news. I believe she called extreme right a "poison to society" in German, or something like that, as a reaction to those attacks), but indeed, the fact that it's spelled the same as the English word "gift" (although English does not require a capital for nouns) makes the word all the more questionable indeed 🤣🤣
(Being multi-lingual can be very funny sometimes, eh?)
