I am biligual and once I tried to text in my native language and the autocorrector tried to turn it to English, but not in translation, but with words with similar spelling making my text message end up in a very extremely sexually insulting text which hardly made sense as awhole... Now all my friends know that when I use my phone to send any kind of message I'll write it in English only to avoid that issue. (Long live desktop PCs).

what's your native language, if I may ask?

Dutch... And there are a lot of non-offensive words in Dutch that come close to foul words in English and vice versa.

ah! I've been to the Netherlands before, very cool place, I definitely want to go there again

and trust me, I understand that some Dutch words look funky to English speakers who don't speak Dutch

Yeah, that poster saying "Mommy, that one, that one, that one... please" is a very notable one. There is also a city named "Grave" in the Netherlands, which did make some English speaking fellows frown. And the internet acronym "lol" and even the variants people use "lul" and "lel" are all three Dutch words. "lol" = fun, "lul" = p**is or bad (male) person, "lel" = whack, so perhaps you can imagine that I am something chucking when reading use acronyms on the internet.
Now I do indeed live in the Netherlands, although there are more countries where he official language is Dutch, like the Northern half of Belgium (aka Flanders) and Suriname. And sometimes there is even some fun about the words used in the three countries, as some words have a different meaning in each country (not unlike UK/US/Australian English).

But to show you a few regular words in Dutch that come close to some strange words in English: Dik (fat), Prik (sting), Kok (Cook/Chef)....
But how about vice versa.... "Dood" (sometimes used as popular spelling for "dude") means "dead" in Dutch, "Cut" comes close to "kut" which is in Dutch a slang term for a woman's genitals, and pick comes close to "pik" which can either be a form of the verb "pikken" (to steal/nick) or as a noun it's a slang term for a man's genitals. "Teeth" comes close to "tiet" with means "boob" and so I can go on forever, so you can imagine that a phone autocorrecting when you are bilingual is not very handy. But since everybody I know at least understands English, I can at least avoid this issue without having to re-configure the language settings of my phone all the time.
