I take it you didn't watch any of the videos I linked. When Israel and the Arab states were both given the chance for independence, With A Jewish controlled territory, a Palestinian controlled territory, and an Internationally controlled Jerusalem. The Jews agreed to this, while the Palestinians tried to fight and drive the Jews out. this resulted in the Israeli war of independence in 1948. The Israeli's won, and seized territory, something that most other nations do when they win wars, especially when the other side was being belligerent. When Israel won the war and gained their independence, they exiled Palestinians, yes, but this was in response to Jews being exiled from the Arab world in general after Israel won.

As for the settlements, their built on land where Israel has already won. Now tell me something: why should Israel, which gained this land in defensive wars, of which the one I mentioned was just the first, have any moral imperative to give that land back to people that have continuously screamed for their blood for over half a century. As far as I'm concerned, the settlements are completely legitimate.

I try to give imgflip not more than half an hour an evening these days, but honestly I doubt if I had posted a bunch of videos that you'd have watched them either. I am familiar with the arguments by both sides, but I think you're being selective in your history, you never even question the earlier stuff like the Balfour Declaration and the dispossession that preceded it in the first place - let alone the "biblical" assumption of divine entitlement bull long before that. Should we forget it was the Judaics who invented genocide down to women, children, and even animals centuries before? Let's not.

Sure the Arabs did dumb things, but they were under existential threat by then, and their ideology was no wackier than the Talmudic racism that has been in slow process of eradication in the name of Erev Yitzroel ever since, right? There's been plenty of screaming for blood by the haredis for years - but let's be honest, don't ever go looking for it to be covered even handedly in the media.

Settlements legitimate? Okay, I can no longer take you seriously. The Israelis make promise after promise after promise, and it's all for show till they make the next theft. Go look at the graphics of the seizure over time. You think Bibi would ever seriously alienate Shaas and his base?

For the record, while I do support Israel, that doesn't mean I support every policy or anything. I just can't fault them for claiming territory after a defensive war, as was the case of their war of independence or the six day war.

Sure. Nobody faults the idea of self-defense, but if you know nothing about the history of the Balfour declaration, you really don't understand the circumstances that led to the invasion in the first place.

On the genocide thing, look up 1 Samuel 15:3. Here it is from the NIV: "Now go, attack the Amalekites and totally destroy all that belongs to them. Do not spare them; put to death men and women, children and infants, cattle and sheep, camels and donkeys.'"

Hell, not even the most hardened nazis were that crazy. And you should learn more about the hidden history of that one too. But there's the original and very first "modern" genocide, and who perpetrated it.

Talmudic racism. Not hard to look up. The Talmud teaches it is not only legitimate for Jew to deceive and steal from a Goy, but that it is morally imperative. It teaches that if a Jew molests a little goy girl, that she, not he, should be put to death - for leading him astray.

Does that sound like a truly humane or moral teaching?

Did you know that many Palestinians are Christians, betrayed by their "brethren" back in the States?

Did you know that orthodox Judaism teaches that Jesus was the Jewish equivalent of the antichrist, was the product of of Mary's prostitution with a Roman soldier, and is boiling in pots of semen in hell? Not "antisemitism", just the technical facts.

The kill ratios of Palestinians versus Jewish Israelis is just the historical stats. If you ever believed otherwise, you have definitely been misinformed.

Most evangelicals are unwilling to let go because they've been so targeted for brainwashing, but if we assume you accept the new testament as valid, it actually states that the biblical identification of Israel for its purposes ceased to be the body of Judaism and became the spiritual collective of the early Christians themselves. That creates real problems for those who try to invent prophetic fulfilments around the zionist state.

Israel's shameless constant violation of its own "agreements" is just daily history to anyone who actually knows the place. It honestly disgusts and depresses even a lot of reasonably sane secular Israelis. If you want a graphic, try this:
