Because we have never seen the other side of the moon and thus, cannot assume it is a sphere. Nor can we assume the other Luminaries are spheroid in shape either. I stole you meme btw! 👍

The whole "space" myth is built merely, and flimsily, on the appearance of the moon. Star Wars, NASA, bogus solar system, all space movies, etc. All based on false assumptions about the moon and how it looks.
