Work What sort of work do you ?

It seems like work even though I'm not paid for it. I usually have to have six to eight minutes of presentations for Council meetings twice a month, with most of the time less than a weeks notice on the agenda. I also speak at other Board and Commission meetings, and I have a community organization or two that I'm involved with as well. I think that about covers it.

That's really cool. For years I was involved in politics and grassroots activism, and was managing editor for a national and state political blog network. Was on the leadership of four presidential campaigns, numerous congressional, Senate and state campaign, county and state delegate etc etc. But.I walked away from it in 2016 in protest of Trumpism. Lost a lot of "friends" because of it. But I'm honestly happier away from all the nastiness and and fakeness

Although the community does seem to like me. I try to give a different perspective on the spin the council is trying to sell the community, because that is usually what it is, in a normal business practice.
I was even assaulted by a city staff member once as she was coming out of council chambers. But of course nothing happened to her besides being promoted, showing how dirty and corrupt our city really is.
But on occasion I do hit soft spots that get a reaction, like the city council hoarding three quarters of a million dollars in council discretionary funds. The mayor tried to come at me for that.
That's basically what I do.

I should go to bed a repairman from the manufacturer of my washing machine is finally coming to fix it. I only had to give a presentation last Thursday citing multiple conflicting documents and other examples and comparisons. So when my washing machine is fixed my day will be much better. My fingers are crossed.
