I'm surprised it posted so fast. I did it less than an hour ago, at the time of our comments.

A church down the street from me has a wild game supper very year and they always have fried gator. Pretty good stuff depending on which piece you get nd how well it's fried.

If I remember right, there is or was a restaurant near me that served different wild game. They had something different Al the time, depending on what was in season. I don't think it's around anymore. Health regulations might have been a pain. There is a grocery store in Cincinnati called Jungle Jim's that has anything you can think of. It's huge, something for every ethnicity.
