I subscribe to Funimation. I have hundreds of animes, dubbed and/or subtitled. I'm currently watching 4 ongoing series, but have avoided most of the "mainstream" ones. Black Clover and The Ancient Magus Bride are two of those current series. As far as mainstream goes, I watched every episode of Inyuasha and Fairy Tail. All other series I had never even heard of before. Sadly, too many of them never get into a second season.

It's funny, I didn't care much for it when anime first came to the US with Speed Racer, but now in my old age, I love it.

I was 10 when Speed Racer became an anime, but I didn't see it until I was 13. It was before cable was everywhere, so we had to use a special antenna to pick up the Chicago stations.

Now I feel disappointed in myself for not watching more anime XD

I've only really gotten into it in the last year. I picked up season 2 of Ranma ½, a boxed set, for $5. I watched it first to make sure it would be acceptable for my granddaughters, discussed it with their mom, who agreed that if the girls hadn't seen a topless female by now, they'd be able to see one as they developed. (heck, the oldest had to start wearing a bra at age 8) I gave her that set for Christmas, but got most of the other seasons afterwards. only missing season 8 and the OVAs. Got a free VIZ account and watched season 8, some OVAs, and Inyuasha. Started watching Fairy Tail on Hulu, had to watch the balance on Crunchy Roll (subtitled, which made me dislike the later seasons, but can watch it in full fully dubbed) Then started looking for other anime. Realized Funimation licensed a lot of it, so got my account there.

If you get a chance, subscribe there. It's only $6.00 a month, and if you're a student that lives at home, you may be able to persuade your folks to subscribe for you. Not knowing gender or age of you, I'd highly recommend two shows there. A Certain Magical Index and it's side story (spin-off) A Certain Scientific Rail-gun. A lot of violence, but the nudity is put on the back burner: only an occasional bare butt or side boob. Storyline is excellent. If your folks find that unacceptable, then there's Alice and Zoroku or the current Konahana Kitan. They also have other animes that you may be aware of, but some you may not. And yes, they have Sailor Moon. (My boy loved that show when It made it's way to the US back in the 90s. I started watching it, but never really got into it)
