Golf: Pelvic & Sternum Centers

at impact, sternum center is aligned above the ball ....pelvic center is fwd of ball ...this is classic "covering of the ball"

Commentary from the YT video: ....allows "advantage" for getting the swing pivot to transit over to left leg ..gives stable surface for hitting ball out of the middle of clubface with speed ....golfer can push hard to left side and create proper amount of axis tilt without excessive tilt .... this is textbook "covering of ball "

do not allow centers to diverge much more than shown above ...it will result in excessive tilting and you'll see hooks and blocks

12/22/2017 ...the bump left gets the pelvic center beyond ball ...as you do this, make sure the thumbs point deeper into the backswing (windup even more)

Get my pelvic center forward of the ball in the transition's "bump left" whilst sternum center stays aligned above ball ...then go into the downswing with the hip rotation ...arms just come along for the ride

try this ...post impact, move laterally left and line up sternum center with pelvic center once again...does this compress ball better ??
