6 of those mons are dragon, and 5 are psychic (I counted the Latis for both of them). They're really good offensive types (no doubt), but not “ruling the meta” tier types. The meta is much more than typing. Only for gen 1 was typing really important, but it was psychic and normal. Dragons ruled in gen 4, but that was because they had amazing base stats to compliment their typing. Same thing with Metagross and Jirachi/Celebi, but they're more specific
