Interesting fact: sharks are covered in scales, do to the obvious fact that they're fish. Shark teeth can continuously regrow because their teeth are actually very large, hard scales; this is also why they may have several rows of teeth.
Another way to perceive this is that sharks are covered in MILLIONS of tiny teeth.
