I don't mind helping a friend make a bit of money, but I do mind it if somebody wants a professional service done by a stranger so that they can make money. This actually happened. The realtor said, "Make the house just jump off of the screen".
On the other hand, when someone needs some work done for personal reasons, I'm more than happy to give them a hand, even if they are strangers. I cleaned up a pic of a woman's mother that the lady loved. Another, a family had lost their German Shepherd furbaby after a long happy life. They had a really good pic of the fellow, so I put him on a cloud for eternity. They loved it.
Stuff like that, I don't mind doing. I get rewarded with the warm fuzzy even years after I'd forgotten about doing them.
But business is business
