If anyone has read what he said you should have noticed this was a child abuse victim championing his abuse, refusing to be a victim, and refusing to allow it to define him. He tried to relay that it helped him instead of hindered. Clearly a defence mechanism.

Someone can be right about 90% of the things they say unfortunately the 10% you are "wrong" is enough to destroy you and delegitimize your previous statements with no way of defending.

Honestly I'm a fan of a lot of the things that he says. If this was a female that had Stockholm syndrome after a r*pe and kidnapping who had overcome the experience we would be celebrating her. We would want her to find a way of living a little more comfortable.

He's speaking for everyone. '13-25, 13-28...We get hung up on this sort of child abuse stuff..." Then he goes on to wax poetic about all the great things an older man can offer a younger boy. A 13 y.o. is a kid, a virtual child. No adult should be dating, much less hanging out with a 13 y.o. in any of the ways he's discussing. I don't know what his childhood was like that being abused by an older dude made his life better, but that's far from the case for a lot of kids who are being threatened, coerced and sexually abused. To make light of that is really sick.

You don't get to base your entire career on telling marginalized people their feelings don't matter and then expect everyone to respect your feelings when your words come back to bite you in the ass.
