Two key moves in the DS are 1. flatten out the swing plane in the TS ... 2. CAM (Conservation of Angular Momentum) is the force that will help eliminate flips ...imagine your hips and shoulders are fan blades and the shaft is a string tied to a blade ...the string must flip out towards target ...not ground ....HOW?: if you stop the rotation of the hips at impact, the wrist will uncock and shaft will be improperly flipped ...you must keep rotating the hips and shoulders to 15* open with right wrist flexed back .... Now stop the hips ...and only at this point release wrist angle post impact into the straight line release

It is key for the hips to stop at 15* open 'cos this whips the arms thru impact much like the arm stop / wrist flick with a bull whip

do not use shoulder girdle in the downswing ...focus on glutes and hips

hit thru the ball ...not "AT" the ball ...envision divot 6" past ball

...think of the arm & shaft as a flail that will cut down a tree sapling . The slash will start at the point where the ground meets the trunk and end a little bit underground

The Pull Back Move ....FROM the TOP of BS you SQUAT DOWN. The shaft dissects the bicep (caddy view) ...FROM HERE DO THE GFR MOVE that creates a PULL BACK feeling that snaps the shaft into the ball ...ensure your wrists are in ulnar deviation at impact ...it is key not to raise up out of posture during the pull back 'cuz you'll lose the spacial position of ball and hit off center or thin ...This pull back is similar to the snapping of a wet towel
