Two key moves in the DS are 1. flatten out the swing plane in the TS ... 2. CAM (Conservation of Angular Momentum) is the force that will help eliminate flips ...imagine your hips and shoulders are fan blades and the shaft is a string tied to a blade ...the string must flip out towards target ...not ground ....HOW?: if you stop the rotation of the hips at impact, the wrist will uncock and shaft will be improperly flipped ...you must keep rotating the hips and shoulders to 15* open with right wrist flexed back .... Now stop the hips ...and only at this point release wrist angle post impact into the straight line release
