the benefit of this FH style is that the swing is a straight line swing ....gives a heavy ball and you can adjust the path (lo to hi) to impart variations of top spin ...you cannot do this as effectively with a semi circular swing that comes from behind the back

...the ROLL is mostly done with the right shoulder ...some wrist can be used ...however heavy topspin is delivered most effectively with the shoulder engaged in a rolling motion ...similar to a powerful "pulling slap" across the back of a golf ball with wrist in ulnar deviation ...& weight going fwd and to the left

ala' Feel Tennis ...do not hit ball ...but rather sweep thru it ....hitting will cause a instinctive contraction at impact ...sweep thru the shot as if the ball is a fallen leaf on your driveway for more control and fewer unforced errors

loop racket back with head pointing at opponent and a high elbow (nudge) ...then, keeping elbow in place, simply extend the arm to the outside ...next - pull with the hips & arm ...the racket will go down and back "on its own" (flip) ...create space between body and racket to better engage the shoulder girdle for enhanced power ...hit ball slightly out (power) & below COP (so strings close over top of ball)

extend the arm into impact ...and once fully extended bend at the elbow by contracting bicep

Note RF's "yes" move with left arm ...key to start upper torso rotation and creating arm lag

Try and make contact just under COP ...the racket will close slightly and impact more topspin
