Marble drones storyboard | Zenith woke up to the sound of her name being said.
"you've been out for a day. I just told your parents you got attacked by those gangs that put viruses into drones". She jerked up to see Natalie. there was another drone wearing a black hoodie. their crimson brown hair was messy and covered a blue mask. "and you are?" she asked the masked drone. "Jack Nyren. though everyone calls me EJ". He took off the mask, to reveal that his visor had been smashed, and oil had made new eyes, although it would drip every so often. "in case you don't realise, it stays for eyeless jack. I got plenty of other names, like the eyeless drone, empty-black-sockets drone, that kinda stuff"; Pilot-Chapter 2; "What-What happened?" she asked.
"You where attacked by hoodie, a proxy of the operator. in case you don't know, the operator is a rebooted wendigo drone. he goes about finding murderous, or ai-unstable drones to infect. you where lucky Natalie was with you. she gave me a signal so I warped over to you" EJ said. Zenith paused, trying to understand what he had said. She had survived becoming a servant of the anti-christ? it went from Benjamin breaking up with her to this? "They won't stop now. there are some at the school. apart from Natalie, I'll be your only protection. Masky And LJ would, but their dealing with their own issues"; "What? so they're gonna hunt me down until join them with their silly friend?!" she responded
"it's more complex than that. the operator wishes to show society their faults. by using those with issues" Natalie responded. "I was going to be a murder drone before.. my incident, so I know how to repair a drone, or make one. I can try and give you a bit of defence" EJ mentioned. he turned off to open a jar with some squishy stuff in it. he picked it up and started chewing it. then she realised. they where human parts. EJ was a wendigo drone, but he was tamer than most. "You-you eat that?" she said. "yes. I go out on nightly raids. I'm a marble drone, so I'm not controlled by the hive mind."; A marble drone. a wendigo drone not controlled by the mind.
"I forgot to say it, but you are also one. but a different version. one that survived nearly being taken over by the operator". She went over to the sink, were some batteries where. the apartment was a bit run down, but it was still functional. she looked at herself in the sink mirror. one of her eyes was an X. An image flashed. A white faceless drone in a gloomy chamber, held by inky tentacles. she knew it. that was the operator. she flashed back to the apartment and started chewing on the batteries. "The X is a scar of the attack. We'll know if you're in trouble when a circle appears around it"; Great. now she wasn't just going to be constantly hunted and turned into a murder drone, she now had a X on her visor. Why. Just why.
"we'll start working on your upgrades tommorrow for now, I will try and enrol into the school. two ally's are better than one". Jack said, chewing on what appeared to be a liver. Marble drones: pilot: chapter 1 | Zenith Larke sat in her seat, spinning her pen. her teacher was ranting on about the wendigo drone wars. did they really have to know this? their parents had already told them the whole thing, they where already taught to drones who wanted to be nurses and doctors. everyone knew it. don't get human blood in your system. easy. The lunch bell rang. she walked over to her favourite place, one of the concrete pipes that lead down to the metro. this one didn't lead to the metro. it lead to her small cave. she pulled out her RAM sticks. she loved them. The small family of raccoons in the small tree cooed. when CYN was about to turn the earth into a black vortex, humans had tried bringing 3 pairs of every creature to Hope_002. however, some animals weren't so lucky. elusive animals died to the vortex and so scientists made robotic versions, but with full on organs from DNA they had. From shat she heard, they were trying to use the DNA to clone some creatures. ( I was going to post prolouge first, but there was an error. I still have it in my image documents. iamnotok, you can see it if you want, but you don't follow me so I cannot text u )
PILOT- CHAPTER 1; She waited for her boyfriend Benjamin. he was training to be a IT drone, helping humans with coding and software. she was thinking about doing the art course. or writing course. that would be fun. coding class often ended later than normal classes. her school was split into two parts: a sector for humans, to learn how to make drones, how drones work, human stuff and.. yeah. that was all that her human lena had told her. her half, the drone part gave different courses for drones who wanted to do a career on. that subject. for those who hadn't figured what they wanted to do didn't go to the fancy classes just learnt the essential subject that every drone must learn: history, English, maths and that stuff. she heard footsteps. Benjamin was here. "Sorry I was late! my teacher wouldn't stop ranting on about how to remove a virus from a fellow drone!" he said. the two sat down. Benjamin was her closest, if only friend. no one really liked her, for drones with red eyes were seen as dangerous. Benjamin, unlike other male drones had hair. it was dark gold, with small sideburns. he wore a green jacket along with a long green beanie. he turned around.
"look, zenith i'm sorry but, My parents have been saying that I can't be with you anymore. they want me with Bonnie, since she's in robotics. I'm sorry".
Zenith looked at him with shock. although it was legal, it was looked down upon a drone forcing their child to go with someone with a similar career to theirs. she got up and ran off to the main hall. lunch was just about to end, and she would go to her next class. Sometime was here. she packed her bag to go to the bus. She had ended up with becoming friends with the new kid, Natalie. she and zenith had been picked on for visor reasons. her left part of her visor, other was a hole with a wrist watch on it. she had explained how at her old school she had been bullied and the bullies had done that. the two started walking to the bus stop. Zenith noticed bonnie, along with her friend Milne. they were the popular kids. their goons laughed as they approached them. "We heard about your incident with benny." bonnie said with a mean grin. The popular kids whipped out with wrenches. Zenith could see that they had virus nuts on them. before the popular kids could act, Zenith snapped. She grabbed a wrench and smashed Katie, one of the goon's visor. She went back to normal. Katie's visor had "FATAL ERROR" on it. she had killed a drone. she would end up being a murder drone, working for the military. something she didn't want. the popular kids ran away, screaming. Natalie just stood there staring. Shortly after, a figure in a yellow hoodie appeared. their fave was covered by a black material, with a red sad face on it. They whipped out a knock out thing.
