What you don’t know is that the Reapers weren’t made in the 1960s. They have been around since Death has been around. The Brothers of Death originally created them to guide souls in the afterlife. However, they also acted as soldiers for the Brothers of Death. They are each individually extremely powerful seeing as they were trained by true form Able. Despite this only 1, 2, 6, 8, and 11 have been able to match Able in combat. Their true forms have been reincarnated throughout the years as newer, and far superior bodies developed. Therefore the foundation narrowed it down to 100,000 unborn babies and therefore they waited until the babies were born when they kidnapped them. Over the highly unethical training, they finally narrowed it down to 100 candidates. Near the end of training the candidates would be asked if they would willingly terminate their entire families and only 100 obliged. These children were never human in the first place. They were monsters, created for one purpose, to kill and to serve. Thankfully, they have been willing to cooperate with the SCP Foundation on the account that the O5 Council is replaced via termination every 10 years. The O5 council so far is unaware of this and it should be kept this way. One thing to keep in mind though, 2, 6, 8, 11 have gone rogue because of various reasons. 2 joined the Chaos Insurgency out of jealousy. You see, every 1000 years a lord of the afterlife is assigned to a Reaper. Such an honor is highly prestigious and respectable amongst the Reapers seeing as they will maintain order in the afterlife. When 1 was elected 2 flew into a massive rage. 6 disappeared for unknown reasons although it is speculated he has ties to various groups of interest such as the Children of the Scarlet King, the Sarkists, the Church of the Broken God, and even the Serpent’s Hand. 8 and 11 have stuck together and deserted in order to wage their own separate war against 1 due to the belief that 1 and the Brothers of Death were purposefully causing violent conflicts in order to increase the amount of dead. What worries the Foundation the most however is that there has been a confirmed sighting of 6 meeting with the Children of the Scarlet King giving documents about anomalies such as SCP-682, SCP-2317, and the most horrifying of them all, SCP-999, the only thing that is believed to have the power of stopping the Scarlet King in his path for good. When the video feed was shown, the Administrator and the O5 council froze and realized what 6 just did and immediately sent out every Reaper available to stop them and after some time, they were successfully able to capture 6 and kill almost every Child of the Scarlet King aside from a few stragglers. During his interrogation, 6 admitted to working with the Scarlet King himself and in that instance 1 the coldest and the cruelest amongst all the Reapers fell to his knees and began hyperventilating which was thought to be impossible, and he said “You idiot! What have you done?! You doomed us all.” 6 laughed and replied “The things we do for love.” And then to everyone’s shock, 6 stopped moving, stopped breathing, his vital signs grew to a halt, every organ shut down within his modified body, 6 was dead. Even 1 couldn’t believe it. 6 wasn’t going to be returning anytime soon, nor was he going to be reincarnated any time soon. He had cut all ties with the Brothers of Death and realigned himself with the Scarlet King. You might be wondering what 6 had anything to do with the Scarlet King, that is when you realize that 6 was a fake number given to him.
