I'm sorry if nobody agrees with me, but death isn't deserved from stealing. I don't care if you stole from an old man. Does he deserve jail, humiliation, and other horrible things? Absolutely.
But if you wish death on someone that doesn't physically hurt others permanently. You're a terrible person, and that's the hard truth. If you can't accept that he didn't deserve death; you're the problem.
What about his family, those who depended on him? What if he was stealing to feed his kids at home? What if he was stealing because he just wanted his kids who've lived in poverty their whole lives to have a taste of wealth?
Would you still think he deserved death?
