Actually, the vast majority of sinus infections resolve with self-care. Rest is actually a major factor in recovery. I'd assume this is only the first day of the infection, so its severity can't actually be told yet. I've known this guy a bit longer than you have, and he can tend to be a bit dramatic at times(no offense intended, Starfall). It hasn't been long enough for his mom to feel like it's an actual issue, as many sinus infections are minor, but if/when it does, she'll take him, I'm sure of it.
Bro relax, sinus infections that can kill are extremely rare. While you may not notice it happening, the vast majority of sinus infections resolve with self-care. If you really do think it's severe, then detail your symptoms. Is it a high fever, do you have a stiff neck, et cetera. If this is just the first day of the infection, then of course your mom isn't worried yet, because it hasn't gone on long enough for her to know whether or not it's a genuine problem. It's not ignorance. If it ends up lasting long enough that she gets concerned, she'll take you to the hospital then. I severely doubt that this sinus infection will kill you.
So, Chorus is an Extraterrestreon, from exoplanet 42 Draconis B. The thing about 42 Draconis B is that it's basically a giant evolution stone, so basically the moment the Eevee there hatch, they evolve. Instead of fur, they're covered in highly flexible and adaptable tentacles, kind of like rubber, and are invertebrates, so they don't really have, well, bones. This means they can fit into disguises quite easily, for instance, Chorus's classic Rockruff state. The tentacles have practically no pain receptors in certain points, so they can be cut off easily, which is why Chorus is rather less tentacled than others.
She used to be an upbeat youth, though she was always cast aside due to their albinism(which reacts quite differently to an Extraterrestreon's body than other creatures) and began to slowly but surely lose it. Eventually, she isolated herself entirely until her mind was at last gone. In her mania, she'd become one who cared no more for identity but for thrill, a court jester in her own little world.
